Victorian locket pendant mounted in 15ct yellow gold. English. Circa 1890. The hinged central locket pendant can be opened to store a picture or memento. Stamped 15ct and an inventory number. The inclusion of an inventory number usually indicated the item was made by a well established workshop or brand. Suspended from a later 18 inch 9ct gold chain. Total weight including chain 7.35 grams. Pendant measurements 24mm wide by 30mm long.
